Job summary

Covenant Living invites experienced RNs to join a faith-based senior living community in Northbrook, IL. You will provide direct resident care, oversee LPNs and CNAs, and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations while delivering compassionate, top-quality nursing.

The role requires a nursing degree, current RN license in Illinois, and strong communication; weekend and holiday availability may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state.
• One year nursing experience necessary.
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and CNAs on the unit.
• Assist in orientation and training to maintain high quality of care.
• Motivate LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
• Explain nursing procedures and assist staff with ongoing training.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing about assessments and concerns.
• Observe residents' health and notify physician and family as needed.
