Job summary

Meijer is seeking an experienced store leader in Indiana to plan, direct, and supervise daily operations. You will mentor team members, drive customer service, and help achieve sales while upholding company standards.

Key duties include staffing, coaching for advancement, documenting performance, managing P&L, and maintaining store appearance during peak hours. You’ll spend most of your time in-store engaging with customers and guiding the team toward exceptional service and steady growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and development needs for team members.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service and promotes Meijer initiatives.
• Ensures the team is trained and adheres to company standards and safety practices.
• Spends majority of time in-store communicating with customers and team members to ensure service quality.
