Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Staffing, hiring, and performance management experience helpful.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.
• Strong communication and ability to resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Drive customer service and store sales while maintaining standards.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to Meijer standards.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure required training is completed.
• Oversee P&L, manage shrink, and monitor financial performance.
• Communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and with the team.
• Lead and coach staff across departments and ensure consistent attendance.
