Job summary

Walmart in Maryville, TN is seeking an experienced store leader to guide and develop teams, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee budgeting, inventory flow and merchandising, while implementing business initiatives and change efforts to align with company direction.

The role focuses on leadership, daily operations, and providing feedback to associates to uphold Walmart's One Best Way service model, with strong emphasis on belonging and integrity.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching training and feedback to associates.
• Drive store performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Ensure customer service standards and One Best Way (OBW) model.
• Recruit and develop associates to meet staffing needs and growth potential.
• Identify improvement opportunities and coordinate plans with stakeholders.
