Job summary

Michaels in Southern Pines, NC is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-store presentation to keep shelves stocked and appealing.

The role includes assisting with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, promoting the Rewards program, and adhering to SOPs while upholding Michaels’ values.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Ability to stand and move around the store for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go backs.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; present a positive image.
