Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in Southern Pines, NC to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining store recovery while supporting omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

The role requires ability to stand long periods, lift, and move throughout the store, with evenings, weekends and early shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Ensure merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote a positive image and model behavior.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
