Job summary

Michaels Stores in Southern Pines, NC is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading and stocking while maintaining store standards to support the Michaels brand.

Role involves omnichannel support (BOPIS, SFS), merchandise recovery, in-stock optimization, and safety programs. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Standing and walking for long periods; ability to move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Operate checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Explain Rewards program and private label card enrollments.
• Promote VOC survey and collect feedback.
• Support BOPIS and SFS omnichannel processes.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking and planogram upkeep.
• Manage merchandise recovery and backstock processing.
• Perform store in-stock optimization and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Be a positive role model and cross-train in Custom Framing sales/production.
