Job summary

El Capitan Canyon is seeking Overnight Security Agents to monitor the resort after hours and assist with guest safety and service. You will greet guests, check credentials, answer calls, and escalate issues as needed while patrolling cabins and common areas.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Shifts run 9pm–6am with on-site work in Goleta, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Reasonable computer proficiency (email/internet).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to respond during non-business hours.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, vendors, and contractors; direct them to destinations.
• Obtain guest names and information entering the resort.
• Answer phones politely and relay information.
• Handle guest questions or escalate to appropriate department.
• Escort guests and monitor for unregistered guests and issues.
• Conduct routine site checks and note maintenance or safety issues.
• Assist with noise complaints and parking enforcement.
• Monitor and report unusual occurrences and follow safety procedures.
• Receive and track packages and mail for resort operations.
• Tag vehicles for removal at unrented sites; communicate issues to managers.
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth resort operation.
