Job summary

Vinfen seeks an overnight program assistant to support individuals in a community living arrangement. You will provide individual and group support, teach skills to increase independence, and ensure a safe, clean residential environment.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs, maintaining progress notes, assisting with ADLs, monitoring needs, administering medications, and participating in trainings. You will drive as needed, ensure safety, and cover last-minute shifts.

Qualifications

• Three months to one year experience in a related function.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment programs.
• Maintain records for persons served and document incidents and progress.
• Provide training and support in completing ADLs (showering, hygiene, dressing) and conduct safety training.
• Monitor physical and emotional needs and report changes to supervisor.
• Manage medications per MAP requirements and policies.
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings; help orient new staff; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Follow policies including safe work practices and exposure control.
• Perform hands-on tasks to support plans and ensure site safety; provide transportation as needed.
• Ensure staff to person served ratio and cover last-minute shifts.
• Provide physical intervention/first aid during emergencies; report to authorities as required.
• Stay awake, alert, and present during shift; perform other related duties.
