Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of rendering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• On-the-job training as required.
• PCQI qualification.
• Ability to make sound decisions involving plant operations, safety, environmental matters, and product quality.
• Technical understanding of plant operational software, equipment, and processes.
• Willingness to work the overnight schedule and rotate shifts every four months.
• Flexibility to help supervise other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day rendering plant operations in Millsboro.
• Supervise receiving of raw materials and timely loading for customers.
• Maintain safety, environmental, and product quality objectives.
• Provide hands-on supervision and training to rendering staff.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate daily initiatives.
• Develop employees through training and cross-training programs.
• Work overnight and rotate shifts every four months.
• Ensure accurate operational reporting.
