Job summary

Mountaire Farms in Delaware is seeking a leadership-focused supervisor to oversee rendering operations, manage superintendents and hourly associates, and drive safety, quality, and productivity. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, coach staff, and ensure regulatory compliance (HACCP/FSMA) while controlling costs.

The role requires deep operational experience, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset to coordinate with Maintenance, HR, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Agriculture, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 5-7 years of supervisory/management experience across multiple departments.
• Experience in poultry/rendering operations preferred; manufacturing management background acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily rendering operations to meet production goals, yield and quality standards.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and training for coverage and development.
• Identify process improvements to reduce waste and optimize labor and equipment use.
• Manage capital projects and coordinate with maintenance, engineering and supply chain.
• Promote safety and regulatory compliance including HACCP and FSMA.
