Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years leadership in manufacturing, meat processing preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude to direct and delegate equipment issues.
• Knowledge of USDA and HACCP procedures.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead team activities to produce quality products per criteria.
• Maintain safety standards as required by law and policy.
• Direct and train team members, ensure rotation minimums are met.
• Coach team members to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain high morale with ethical standards and respect.
• Manage production schedules as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure processing procedures comply with quality and safety.
• Monitor and improve production quality and quantity.
• Use problem solving and process control tools to meet schedules.
• Coordinate workflow, scheduling and placement to meet goals.
• Conduct process audits and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure policy and PPE compliance.
• Collaborate with supervision to maintain efficiency.
• Assist with pre-operation activities.
• Perform other duties as needed.
