Job summary

Southwest Airlines Co. is seeking Line RON Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to inspect and repair airplanes on the ramp during overnight hours.

You will work outdoors, check systems, fix issues, and ensure aircraft are ready for the next flight, coordinating with Technical Operations and Airport Teams. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, outdoor environments, and delivering safe, on-time service every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of Aircraft Maintenance Experience, including 1 year on Heavy Jet Aircraft (12,500 lbs or more).
• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License and Federal A&P Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft and related systems per airline operations.
• Perform checks, dismantling, repairs, and painting as assigned.
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Follow CFR and safety procedures.
