Job summary

Southwest Airlines is seeking Line RON Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to work on the ramp in San Diego, CA. You will inspect and repair aircraft systems overnight to keep flights on schedule, collaborating with Technical Operations and Airport Teams.

The role requires an A&P license, 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience (including heavy jet), and the ability to work rotating shifts, with pay of $35.77 per hour and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years aircraft maintenance experience, including 1 year heavy jet maintenance.
• Must meet CFR 65.83 recency requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively to support airline operations.
• Perform maintenance, checks, dismantling, overhauling, repairing, and fabricating aircraft systems.
• Meet physical ability requirements and work under deadlines.
