Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• US citizenship or legal authorization; no sponsorship required.
• Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 1 year on aircraft 12,500 lbs or larger.
• Recency of aviation knowledge per CFR 65.83.
• Availability for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Team-oriented and able to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on Southwest's fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.
• Work with maintenance professionals to execute Line RON workloads and Ground Activities.
• Use technical manuals, blueprints, change requests, and reports for tasks.
• Document work performed and prepare job reports and tickets.
• Operate and inspect ground equipment, parts, and tools.
• Participate in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines and safety requirements.
• Assist team members and respond to emergencies per company protocols.
