Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to lead the overnight shift (7pm–7am, 2-2-3 rotation) and drive safety, quality, and performance on the plant floor. You will guide a team, coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, Planning and HR, and ensure schedules run smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on leadership, strong communication, and solid problem-solving skills, with experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to manage multiple priorities on

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical training or some college preferred.
• 1-2 years of related production experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read procedures and write reports; effective communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities and coach the team.
• Guide production schedules, assign work, and delegate tasks.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and adherence to customer specs.
• Support training, development, and proficiency of staff.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing, scheduling, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Conduct performance reviews and recommend coaching or corrective actions.
• Communicate shift updates and metrics to department leaders.
• Identify delays, root causes, and take action to keep production on schedule.
• Encourage cost-awareness and process improvements on the floor.
