Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Register new patients and update insurance and billing information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and payments.
• Facilitate patient flow and notify staff of arrivals or delays.
• Answer phones and route calls as needed.
• Provide general information and directions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, and filing.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area.
• Assist with supply management and stocking as needed.
• Support patients and families with a friendly, reassuring approach.
