Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a motivated 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead overnight production operations at our folding carton facility. You will oversee safety, quality, training, development, and productivity across the shift while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include leading cutting, finishing, and forming, coaching staff, analyzing performance data, and conducting safety and quality reviews.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop, motivate, and influence employees; leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer proficiency.
• Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday-Thursday, 9:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.) with occasional weekend work.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Manufacturing production experience, preferably in a packaging or converting environment, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the cutting, finishing, and forming departments.
• Manage department operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance.
• Assess employee performance and training needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide coaching, training, development, and regular performance feedback to team members.
• Analyze production and department performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enforce safe work practices and lead daily safety discussions.
• Provide direction and support to ensure product quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Lead monthly department meetings focused on safety, quality, productivity, and process improvements.
