Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Ohio to oversee safety, quality, training and productivity on their shift. The role focuses on leading the day-to-day operations in the converting department and ensuring adherence to all plant rules and policies.

You will monitor quality, efficiency and production levels, set by management, and communicate these standards to staff. The position requires leadership experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to train

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willing to work all shifts and weekends.
• 5 years corrugated experience with a background in Flexo folder gluers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations in the converting department.
• Ensure safety and adherence to plant rules and policies.
• Maintain quality, efficiency and production levels; communicate standards to employees.
• Identify improvement opportunities and assist with problem solving.
• Provide training, development and feedback for employees.
• Maintain high morale and fairness; ensure confidentiality.
• Manage inventories of sheets, inks and converting supplies.
• Oversee quality checks and production meetings; monitor housekeeping.
