Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a highly skilled Overnight Assistant Operations Manager to direct the leadership team and ensure clean, safe, and appealing property conditions at our Hawaii client site. The role combines hands-on cleaning with supervision, budget oversight, safety compliance, and staff development.

You will report on daily operations, manage schedules, and coordinate with the Island General Manager to achieve performance goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years working experience directly supervising a crew of 25 or more.
Minimum experience of 4 years facilities management in the janitorial industry preferred.
Valid Driver's License in good standing.

Achieve operational objectives while upholding company values.
Develop a positive working relationship with each team member, mutual trust and respect as a foundation.
Explain in a clear and understandable manner all company and departmental procedures to contribute to overall department productivity level.
Understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and recognize product names and their proper usage and storage; follow emergency procedures.
Develop and assist departmental training programs that are organized, developed, implemented, and administered.
Understand and have full knowledge of the property's work scope to ensure quality, staffing guide based on scope of work.
Understand and be responsible for managing the labor and expenses for the project keeping in line with the budget.
Inspect all areas daily and monitor workflow to ensure the property is in a clean and attractive condition while correcting discrepancies.
Ensure all team members are working safely and in compliance with all regulations and have the proper equipment and supplies.
Provide a daily report of the shift, and may conduct a walkthrough with the client.
Monitor and maintain equipment preventative maintenance, replacements, and inventory of all equipment, chemicals.
Prepare weekly schedule and can make daily adjustments within budget and regulations.
Ensure all team members adhere to company procedures and policies.
Communicate operational challenges to the Island General Manager for resolution/action.
Project a professional impression and maintain a positive image with respect to the company.
Participate in cleaning activities alongside staff as needed; hands-on involvement is required.
