Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or mill environment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work night shift hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate hourly production employees during the night shift.
• Serve as the primary on-site leader during overnight hours, making sound decisions to maintain operations.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and training to team members.
• Enforce company policies, work rules, and attendance standards.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate nightly priorities and expectations.
• Monitor production processes to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Lead shift turnover communication with day shift to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify overnight process opportunities.
• Maintain accurate production and downtime reports.
• Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues in real time.
• Coordinate with on-call maintenance as needed.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and strong operational awareness.
• Communicate effectively across shifts and departments.
• Use basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and recordkeeping.
