Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Night Shift Plant Operator Lead in Jamesville Quarry to oversee safe, efficient aggregate production and team development. You will manage crushing, screening, and conveying operations, partner with maintenance to reduce downtime, and drive improvements across throughput and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, data-informed decision making, and a commitment to MSHA standards in an outdoor quarry setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in aggregates, mining, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to interpret production data, identify trends, and make real-time operational decisions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide crews in a high-production quarry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate plant operations in a quarry environment for safe, efficient production.
• Monitor and optimize crushing, screening, and conveying equipment with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement on throughput, quality, and cost across plant operations.
• Maintain production, inventory, and shift reports; ensure MSHA compliance and company standards.
• Promote safety culture through inspections and leading by example.
• Provide direction to plant personnel and foster teamwork and accountability.
