Job summary

Sam's Club in Austin, TX is seeking a customer-focused team member to deliver member services, guide purchases, and maintain the sales floor. You will supervise associates, train staff on service techniques, and support recruiting and scheduling activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting members with self-service technology; assisting in purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
• Assists management with supervising associates in assigned area; trains associates; provides direction on member service approaches; participates in recruiting, scheduling, and evaluating associates.
• Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organizes and maintains the sales floor; completes documentation according to policy.
• Maintains safety by conducting safety sweeps and following forklift and hazardous material procedures; reports unsafe situations to management.
• Ensures merchandise presentation and floor maintenance; handles claims and returns; signs, prices, and stock merchandise; detects shrink and damages.
