Position: Overnight Member Service Representative (MSR)

The Overnight MSR will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
2. Handle all front desk activities including:
3. Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
4. Check members into the system.
5. Assist with new member sign-up.
6. Take prospective members on tours.
7. Update members’ accounts as needed.
8. Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and escalate to management as needed.
9. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Diplomacy and professionalism in all interactions.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking during shifts.
• Talking in person and on the phone.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional contact with cleaning chemicals.
