Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a heavy-duty diesel truck technician for night shift work in Missouri. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair refuse trucks to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently.

The role offers starting pay of $23–$35 per hour, with additional pay based on experience, certifications, and skill level. Benefits include PTO, tool allowances, boot reimbursement, and health and retirement plans after qualifying periods.

• Troubleshoot problems and complete repairs on diesel refuse trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep fleet ready for daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $23-$35/hr

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: Sunday-Thursday. 8pm-5am. Immediate Overtime after 40hrs worked.
