GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a diesel fleet technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure daily operations.

Starting pay ranges from $28 to $35 per hour, with more based on experience and ASE certs. The role includes diagnostics, daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on hydraulic, electrical, brakes, suspension and PTO systems to keep refuse trucks running safely and

Qualifications

• Experience repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, brakes, suspension, and PTO systems.
• Willingness to perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay

Starting Pay: $28 to $35 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.

Shift

Shift: 6am-4pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.
