Job summary

You will operate tools, perform basic repairs, move furniture, and assist with vehicle-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tools and machines used in the maintenance/building trades.
• Disassemble, move, and arrange furniture as needed throughout the community.
• Perform repairs to buildings, equipment, and appliances as directed.
• Check maintenance logs and work orders to ensure timely responses.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Prepare and paint surfaces within the community.
• Maintain exterior grounds and assist with landscaping and trash removal.
• Perform basic electrical work such as changing light bulbs.
• Transport residents in the community vehicle to appointments.
• Assist with community vehicle maintenance and with safety drills.
