Job summary

Maumee Bay Lodge is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role runs 10pm–6am, with a starting wage of $16.00/hour.

You will handle routine maintenance requests, perform small projects, and assist guests during the night hours to ensure comfort and safety across the property. This position requires physical work, the ability to work weekends/holidays, and the flexibility to respond to maintenance needs across rooms, pools, and service areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate with guests in a professional manner.
• Ability to multi-task on a fast-paced shift.
• Willing to work 3rd shift, weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electricity, HVAC and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Handle general room calls (TVs, Lights, plumbing, heating/cooling etc.).
• Complete small projects (painting, drywall patching, carpentry, plumbing).
• Test and maintain pools and hot tubs.
• Drain hot tubs nightly, clean and refill.
• Assist guests with needs on 3rd shift (extra pillows, towels, etc.).
• Adjust computer set points for lodge temperature control.
• Maintain the grounds and assist with snow removal during winter.
• Perform repairs across HVAC, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and more.
