Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician for an overnight shift to uphold hotel maintenance quality standards. You will perform preventative maintenance, check electrical systems, and assist with repairs across guest rooms and public areas to keep the property in top condition.

Responsibilities include exterior upkeep, furniture refurbishment, and assisting with guest deliveries and security while maintaining a courteous and reliable presence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Willingness to pitch in and help co-workers.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and complete reports/work orders (e.g., replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl).
• Assist in checking electrical systems and perform minor repairs.
• Assist with major repairs of hotel equipment including HVAC, kitchen, laundry, boilers and plumbing systems.
• Maintain exterior areas and curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and cabinets, tables, chairs, doors and windows.
• Assist with guest deliveries and security as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available for regular shifts.
