Job summary

LBA Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Renaissance - St. Augustine Historic Downtown on-site hotel. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and keeping the property safe, functional, and guest-ready.

You will troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing and related systems, perform maintenance documentation, and support guests and other hotel staff with professionalism. This is an on-site position with a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices.
• Dependable, service-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
• Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
• Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
• Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
• Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

The Maintenance Technician assists with repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the hotel remains safe, functional, and well maintained while providing friendly, professional guest service.

• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, reach, climb ladders, crawl, and kneel.

• Must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
