Job summary

LeoForce in Pittston, PA is seeking an Overnight Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a plastics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong electrical troubleshooting skills with 480V 3-phase systems, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and controls.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read schematics and blueprints, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with 480V, 3-phase electrical systems.
Experience troubleshooting VFDs, PLCs, sensors, motors, and controls.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
Manufacturing or plastics industry experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently on an overnight shift.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, controls, sensors, relays, contactors, and electrical panels.
Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
Perform mechanical repairs involving hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all applicable safety procedures.
