Job summary

LeoForce in Brockton, MA is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician II to maintain production and facility equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and support setup, startup, operation, shutdown, and disassembly of equipment, while ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance.

This role demands overtime flexibility on the 2nd shift and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training preferred
• 1–3 years of general maintenance in manufacturing
• Entry to intermediate mechanical/electrical/plumbing skills
• Basic PLC/VFD/HMI troubleshooting
• CMMS knowledge to create work orders and log time
• Basic ARC and MIG welding skills
• Operate shop equipment (mill, brake, press) at a basic level
• Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Ability to follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety policies
• Lift up to 50 lbs, stand 8+ hours, work near moving parts

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions
• Operate PLC, VFD, and HMI systems at basic-to-intermediate level
• Assist with equipment setup, start-up, operation, shutdown
• Conduct shift handoff discussions on the production floor
• Maintain GMP, HACCP, and Food Defense compliance
• Create notifications and log time in CMMS
• Maintain clean and organized work area and grounds
• Assist with documenting operating parameters and procedures
• Respond to equipment concerns to supervision promptly
