Job summary

Precious Plate is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical equipment for our manufacturing operations. This is a full-time overnight role, 7pm–7am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the Facilities Manager and Electrical Supervisor.

Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and a 2-year degree in electrical technology or related experience, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year degree in electrical technology or related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
• Experience with electrical panel building and diagnosis of electrical circuits.
• Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions; basic math.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment up to 480V.
• Repair recorders, timers, transducers, controls, fuses, heaters, lamps, motors, and panels.
• Utilize PLCs to monitor production machinery; troubleshoot and repair.
• Install and layout electrical wiring, cabinets, and wireways.
• Operate power tools and equipment; perform calibrations per ISO/TS.
• Work with AC/DC motors and drives (Powerflex/KB).
• Follow safety rules; support company goals; perform other duties.
