Job summary

Extended Stay America in Providence, RI is seeking a Night Guest Laundry Attendant. You will assist guests overnight with check-in/out, handle laundry duties, manage dishware, and ensure safety and security procedures are followed throughout the property.

The role includes stocking carts, processing payments and reservations, and assisting with breakfast setup. The typical shift is 11:00pm to 7:00am, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests and associates.
• Operate the property management system technology and perform audit tasks when assigned.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic math in all units of measure.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Manage guest-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests overnight with check-in and check-out according to guidelines.
• Answer phones and ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
• Handle laundry, dishes, and maintenance of laundry rooms per standards.
• Stock housekeeping carts and laundry rooms with required supplies.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures.
• Set up grab-and-go breakfast according to brand standards.
• Conduct daily property tours for cleanliness and maintenance checks.
• Report safety issues to the manager or authorities.
