Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Wilmington to oversee kitchen operations, uphold top-quality food and service, and lead a fast-paced team. The role pays $20.50 per hour with an additional $2.00 premium for overnight hours between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.

Positions include both full-time and part-time schedules. Responsibilities include leading the restaurant team, coordinating with the chef leadership team, managing orders and deliveries, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring safety,

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy. Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Work with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive high-quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure adequate stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and remains in working order.
• Conduct briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met and uphold professional leadership.
