Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s in New York is seeking an Overnight Kitchen Production Lead to supervise the overnight team, coordinate production priorities, and ensure proper preparation, packaging, labeling, and stocking for the next day.

You’ll train team members, maintain sanitation standards, and communicate updates to the Kitchen Manager; the role is centered on hands-on leadership during the 10:00 PM–6:30 AM shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen; 2+ years preferred.
• Previous lead, training, or supervisory experience in a kitchen, grocery, catering, or food-production environment preferred.
• Must be 18+ and able to consistently work the overnight shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Overnight Kitchen Production Team throughout the shift.
• Coordinate food preparation, packaging, labeling, and stocking for the following day.
• Review production lists and assign tasks based on daily priorities.
• Train team members on recipes, equipment use, sanitation, and department procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation, dating, rotation, and storage of items.
• Maintain production records and communicate needs to management.
