Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s in New York is seeking an Overnight Kitchen Production Lead to coordinate production during overnight hours. You will lead overnight team members, organize daily production priorities, and ensure items are prepared, packaged, labeled, and stocked for the next day.

The ideal candidate has dependable kitchen experience, strong leadership, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced overnight environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year experience in a high-volume kitchen; 2+ years preferred.
• Lead/train/supervise in kitchen or food production environments preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen health, sanitation and food-safety standards.
• Able to work overnight 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Overnight Kitchen Production Team through the shift.
• Review production lists and assign tasks based on daily priorities.
• Coordinate food preparation, packaging, labeling and stocking for the next day.
• Monitor workflow and ensure production is completed accurately and on time.
• Train and guide team members on recipes, equipment use, sanitation and procedures.
• Set up workstations and ensure ingredients, utensils and supplies are ready for production.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas and equipment.
• Complete end-of-shift checks and prepare for morning team.
