Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations on the sales floor. You will sort, stock, and organize merchandise, while assisting guests and teammates in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires 18+ years old, the ability to lift up to 44 pounds, and comfort with handheld scanners. It offers flexible hours, safety-first training, and opportunities to grow within Target.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on handheld scanners and other technology devices.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and ESIM items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and Drive Up while ensuring compliance with laws.
