Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to join our General Merchandise team in a fast-paced store environment. The role focuses on guest service, inventory upkeep, and efficient floor operations to ensure products are properly stocked, priced, and signed.

You will help guests find items, resolve issues, and support teammates throughout shifts, including nights and weekends. The position offers an hourly rate starting at $15.50 with an additional temporary $1 shift differential on eligible hours, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments: greet guests, assist with needs, and end transactions with thanks.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment if certified while unloading freight/moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards.
