Job summary

Target is seeking team members for General Merchandise in our stores. You will sort, stock, and organize merchandise, support guest services, and help maintain accurate pricing and in-store signage. The role is physically active with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ideal candidates are 18+, able to operate scanners and lift up to 44 pounds, and maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and a guest-first culture.
• Understanding of retail fundamentals including product availability and pricing.
• Ability to support daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock and organize reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment during unloading and moving merchandise.
• Handle defective merchandise and ESIM items per laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate safety, ethics and compliance in all tasks.
• Assist guest services including back-up cashier and drive-up operations.
