Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an NP to cover overnight intensivist medicine in the ICU. The role involves high-acuity patient care, rounds, and autonomous practice with physician collaboration support. You will perform procedures, manage admissions and discharges, and coordinate care for critical patients in a large Texas health system.

New graduates welcome; 1 year of critical care or acute care experience preferred. Texas RN/APRN licensure required; BLS/ACLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Assess patients' physical and mental condition with comprehensive exams.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics to guide care.
• Prescribe therapies and perform procedures per protocol.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with physician collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on patients and performing evaluations for new and established cases.
• Manage hospital admissions, discharges, and D/C planning.
• Provide inpatient and ICU consults; participate in care coordination.
• Perform invasive procedures as delegated and necessary.
