Job summary

Qualifications

• This role requires strong communication and clinical decision-making.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU with autonomy under physician supervision.
• Experience with high-acuity inpatient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and performs comprehensive/focused exams.
• Orders, interprets laboratory tests and imaging as needed.
• Prescribes medications and advises on therapies.
• Develops and implements treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Counsels patients and families on care, medications, and lifestyle.
• Maintains accurate medical records and coordinates admissions/discharges.
• Performs invasive procedures as delegated and supports rounds.
• Provides on-call coverage as required.
