Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a PA to join the ICU team for overnight coverage in Texas. The role supports high-acuity inpatient care with a focus on rounding, evaluations, consults, and perioperative care. You will work collaboratively with physicians while maintaining significant autonomy as part of a growing critical care team.

New graduates welcome and a manageable caseload with ~12 patients per shift. BLS/ACLS and NCCPA certification are required; state PA license held and active.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited PA program.
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 year of experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - PA license inTexas; BLS/ACLS; NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs inpatient rounding and evaluates new and established patients.
• Handles hospital and ED consults.
• Provides pre- and post-operative care.
• Manages in-basket and patient admissions/discharges.
• Performs invasive procedures per scope of practice.
• May conduct hospital rounds and provide on-call support.
