Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, a premier resort in Montana, is seeking an Overnight Houseperson to join our Housekeeping Team. The role focuses on keeping common areas pristine and delivering amenities to rooms in collaboration with the front desk and housekeeping staff.

You will operate housekeeping equipment, restock supplies, and respond to guest needs with professionalism and a strong guest-service mindset. This position offers competitive pay and benefits at a Four Diamond property.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking an Overnight Houseperson to work with our Housekeeping Team for $23 - $25 hourly DOE. A pristine environment is the backbone of a great guest experience! You will prepare and keep common areas tidy and to a standard of upscale hospitality.

Principle Responsibilities and Position Purpose

A Houseperson is responsible for the cleanliness of common areas in front and back of house, as well as the restocking and cleaning of restrooms both in the front and back of house. They also respond to radio calls from the front office and housekeeping team to deliver amenities to rooms (In room amenities, fresh linens, extra pillows, blankets, hangers, robes, slippers, etc.).

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in all public areas and back of house areas
• Use of houseman carts when cleaning restrooms as well as maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.
• Emptying garbage, removing dirty linens and towels upon request.
• Always carries a radio and responds to any amenity delivery requests.
• Reports necessary maintenance issues to Front Office so a work order is made.
• Responsible for cleaning the Spa every evening after closure.
• Assists with housekeeping as needed for Daily Housekeeping Service for in-house guests.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
• Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

Schedule and Benefits

Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including 20 lbs. may be required. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be always projected.
