Job summary

The Firebrand Hotel in downtown Whitefish is seeking part-time and full-time Housekeeping Attendants to join our team. The position offers $20-$25 per hour DOE and flexible shifts at a Downtown Whitefish property.

Join our housekeeping team and help maintain guest rooms and public areas to the high standards of Averill Hospitality, while providing excellent guest service and a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
• Use of maid cart and maintain inventory of necessary supplies.
• Emptying garbage, removing linens and towels.
• Remaking bed with fresh linens and restocking room with towels, amenities, etc.
• Reports necessary maintenance issues to Front Office for a work order.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

The Firebrand Hotel, located in downtown Whitefish is hiring part-time & full-time Housekeeping Attendants to join our Housekeeping Team at $20-$25 Hourly DOE.

The Hotel is located at a main intersection in downtown Whitefish and 15 minutes from Whitefish Ski Resort. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

A housekeeper is responsible for ensuring rooms and other areas of the hotel are kept clean every day while ensuring housekeeping departmental standards are followed. Cleaning includes, but is not limited to, making beds, replacing used towels with new ones, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and ensuring new toiletries provided by the hotel are placed in appropriate areas. Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating Housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, mops, maid cart, etc.
• Ability and willingness to adhere to all Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.

SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS:

Must be able to: stand for 8 hours, lift up-to 50 lbs., do repetitive work folding linens, loading and unloading industrial-size washers and dryers. Shifts may cover holidays and weekends.
