Embassy Suites by Hilton Columbus Dublin is seeking a Part-Time Security Agent for Saturday and Sunday night shifts (11 pm–7 am) to maintain a safe hotel environment while providing courteous protection. The role emphasizes vigilance, calm response to emergencies, and respectful guest interactions.

You will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor life safety systems, assist guests with security-related needs, and document all incidents in accordance with hotel policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building layout and local area helpful.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate basic computer, printer, copier, and telephone.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior hotel areas on foot to identify security risks.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and enforce safety procedures.
• Assist guests with door lock issues and safety-related needs.
• Use pager and two-way radio to communicate with team; document incidents legibly.
• Escort guests and employees to parking areas as required.
• Maintain order and enforce hotel policies while providing courteous service.
• Record and report incidents, injuries, or security-related events to management.
• Participate in maintaining a neat and professional appearance as per policy.
