Hyatt Regency Columbus is looking for a Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of guests and colleagues, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with hotel departments to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate brings guest service focus, strong communication, and teamwork, with the stamina to patrol and stand for long periods. Weekend and holiday availability is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Security experience in upscale environments is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays, first and second shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and security for guests and colleagues.
• Respond to emergencies and requests from guests/colleagues.
• Act as liaison between security and other hotel departments.
• Train hotel staff as needed.
• Assist front desk and housekeeping with guest needs.
