Job summary

Edgewater Beach Hotel in Naples, FL seeks an Overnight Hotel Security to join our team. This full-time role requires 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts, Monday–Sunday, with pay starting at $17.00/hour.

You will help protect guests and property and respond to emergencies across the property. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k), short-term disability, free parking, free meals on shift, and employee discounts on resort outlets and hotel stays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communications.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life or property.
• Exercise key control, process lost and found items.
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of property.
• Conduct Fire Watch when needed.
• Promote safe work practices including life safety inspections.
• Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
• Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
