Job summary

Hireology's client is seeking a Security Officer overnight to join a resort team. This role focuses on guest safety, emergency response, and life safety practices while maintaining a friendly, service-oriented environment for guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, patrolling the property, conducting fire watch, documenting incidents, and assisting guests with inquiries. Requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), strong listening and communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communications.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred.

• Respond to emergency situations including, but no limited to, safety hazards, fires, and medical emergencies
• Exercise key control, process lost and found items
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of property
• Conduct Fire Watch when needed
• Promote safe work practices to include life safety inspections
• Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
• Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
