Job summary

Saving Sight is seeking an Overnight Healthcare Coordinator to work 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., 3–4 shifts per week with every other weekend. The role involves reviewing medical records, coordinating donations, and communicating with hospitals and families during critical moments.

The position emphasizes empathy, attention to detail, and decisive action in time-sensitive scenarios, with a focus on supporting donor families and coordinating Recovery Technicians.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide compassionate support to families during critical moments.
• Experience coordinating medical or family support services.
• Comfort with navigating electronic records and multiple systems.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to work nights and rotating weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Guide donor families through the donation process with empathy and professionalism.
• Review medical records, health histories, and eligibility criteria to determine donor suitability.
• Communicate with hospitals, funeral homes, and medical examiner offices to coordinate services.
• Dispatch and support Recovery Technicians throughout the donation process.
• Manage multiple active cases while maintaining attention to detail and compliance.
• Make informed decisions in time-sensitive situations while balancing priorities.
